Flash Photography

On 26th January we discussed Flash photography and how it differs from the things we have learned so far. In particular we talked about different types of flash, control of exposure, different flash techniques including direct flash, bounce flash and fill flash. Finally we went over some advanced topics. Please use the link below to get slides from the presentation.

KCL PhotoSoc is very proud to announce a new collaboration with UCL, RHUL and ICL. Our first mutual project is an exhibition titled PASSION. Since we are all very passionate about what we do, we thought this is a perfect topic for our first event!

In order to make this a more interesting exhibition, we decided to organize a competition for all staff and students. We ask you to take your time and submit your best work, both old and new, in order to participate in the one of the biggest photography exhibitions at King’s. You can submit any work that demonstrates your interests, your passion... This can be anything as long as it is tasteful!

Ok, ok, I know we have not really kept the blog very much up-to-date for the past month... but we have been busy with all the work from Uni (and a few other things). So, what did we do over the past few weeks? Well, after the Taylor Wessing Exhibition Visit in mid-November, Shafiq gave a talk on HDR Photography. The week after we did a photowalk around Soho.
